Malcolm is now only one point short of a perfect score, 7 x 60 points. That, however, does not guarantee him victory. With 8 races to go we all, in theory, could overtake him. In practice, the realistic threat comes from, current champion, Tom who has four first places. Head-to-head, Tom leads 2-1.
Tony remains second, Damian third and Geoff fourth. Patrick, completing his seventh race, comes onto the leader-board at fifth. Kate is sixth and Andrew Whittingham seventh.
Ian Ashcroft comes-in at 8th., pushing down Graham Screawn and the Pauls. Pete comes in at 12th. easing out Angela, Janine, John, Chris, Carolyn, Trevor Faulkner, Gareth, Roy, Andy Dodd, Don and Gail. Julie comes in at 24th. ahead of Alan, Nina, Owen and Sarah Miles.

Thanks for the comprehensive stats as ever. I suspect it would have been 3-1 to Tom had he competed. I'm not convinced that was one of my better runs. I can feel a report coming on for the next newsletter!
