This was just what was needed to shake the hill out of the legs of those who'd run the Boars Head the night before. The rest of us had no excuses but found ourselves disappointed with the times compared to previous years. The start had been moved back and an extra triangle added to the park section which seemed to add 20-30s. Still a fine 5k on a nice evening and Louise picked up another category win.

Thanks Rob - just to note I was the first female V35 & not male in case anyone was wondering! The course was definitely longer, my garmin measured 3.17 miles & times down on last year by nearly 20 secs

Sorry Louise that was just my typing not trying to be funny this time. Are there some missing from the results? Ian Ashcroft and Jane Mulryan at least. Or did Ian blow up trying to hang onto Frank Reilly?

Not sure what happened to Ian but Jane chose not to go through the offical finish - although if she had she would have won the V55 easily
